Mile End Common

In the inner suburbs of West Adelaide lies a lovely green space for the community. However, the shade structure and play equipment were showing signs of age, in need of a much-needed update to ensure safety and enjoyment for all.

The City of West Torrens tasked Weathersafe with creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing sail structure to revitalise the West Adelaide Playground.

The upgrade to the shade and play equipment breathes new life into this beloved recreational area.

Recognising the importance of ample shade in outdoor spaces, Weathersafe was commissioned to design and construct a large sail structure, featuring 12 sturdy columns and 4 expansive sails, providing a safe and comfortable playground throughout the hot days.

Families can enjoy hours of fun and relaxation in a refreshed environment, thanks to the City of West Torrens and the expertise of Weathersafe.
