Steel City Drag Club Whyalla

Located in Whyalla, South Australia, the Steel City Drag Club is a proud motorsports community hub that promotes and hosts drag racing competitions for enthusiasts of all ages.

To improve comfort for spectators and participants, the club built an impressive 77m x 8m steel subframe along the race lanes and engaged Weathersafe to supply and install shade covers.

Weathersafe manufactured and fitted the custom shades to the existing frame. The finished result features vibrant Gale 430 shade cloth in alternating Red and Aquatic Blue, bringing an energetic look to the venue while providing essential sun protection.

The upgraded shade area enhances the club members experience and contributes to a more polished appearance for events at the club.
